Artist Highlight: JRD Art Shop | Rentable Natural Light Studio in Danville Ca
We are so excited to introduce a new blog series called “Artist Highlight”! This week we are featuring JRD Art Shop and her gorgeous custom painted backdrops. Not only are we highlighting her amazing talent but we now officially offer 2 of her backdrops just for you! She created a beautiful pink 12x9 backdrop + a 7 grey backdrop. To say we are excited is an understatement for sure!
Jessica, owner of JRD Art Shop, is an amazing human and lives in Merced with her hubby and daughter. She just recently turned her garage into a beautiful art studio where she creates her custom backdrops and styling mats.
Jessica is really great at letting her customers in on her process creating these backdrops by posting time lapse videos on instagram where she is often wearing her paint clothes that are sprinkled with colors from recent projects. So fun!
The best thing about Jessica is that she is kind and supportive. When we first started talking about her highlight feature, she sent out the bat signal to people she loved to work with and organized this amazing shoot. Not only that, but the first time we talked on the phone we talked for over an hour non stop! That my friends is very telling, stick with those kind of people!
We were thrilled with who she picked to collaborate with on this shoot; we couldn’t wait to get started! Adriana Klaus, the photographer, brought so much energy and life into the studio. Florals were created by Jacelyn of The Flora Club. Aren’t they stunning? We were also privileged to work with Brides on Hartz in Martinez (their gowns are TO. DIE. FOR.) along with Bay Area Beautiful with stunning hair and makeup and our awesome model Kendall who is a photographer + videographer as well!
